Our history, vision and mission
Welcome to Natwine Aficionados, where Nature speaks louder than any label. We were born in June
2021 with a simple purpose: to bring natural wines, which we already appreciated, within your reach. We started
with a very short selection, the first producers who generously agreed to collaborate with us, and
since then the project has grown organically, just like the wines we champion.
Our story
Natwine Aficionados started small, by choice, not by circumstance. Instead of chasing after
extensive catalogs, we preferred to build direct relationships with those who make the wine, without intermediaries, without
distributors in between: we relate personally with each producer who is part of our portfolio.
Each one joined by invitation and out of affinity, never for volume.
Our vision
We envision consumers making conscious and informed choices, where natural wine ceases to be a
rare discovery and becomes an accessible and simple choice for those who seek it.
Our mission
Our mission is to bring to you, and to anyone who trusts in our portfolio’s aesthetic, wines born
from small-scale production, made by those who respect the natural cycles of Nature and reject artificial methods in the winery.

Our goal
Our goal is simple: to be the bridge between you and producers whose philosophy is non-negotiable, people who work with
sustainable agriculture, far from mass production, attentive to the rhythms of Nature before any
commercial calendar, people who prioritize their values and principles over
easy commercial profit at any cost.
We don't have the biggest selection. We have our own.
And we know the name of the person who signs each bottle.

At Natwine Aficionados, we don’t just sell bottles. We offer a personal curation, based on the
philosophy of natural wine. Each producer we accept into our portfolio shares the same
ethical principles, and that, more than any technical sheet, guides us.
Values and philosophy
We believe in small-scale production and non-mass-produced agriculture. We believe in agricultural production
that respects natural cycles and observes the rhythms of Nature, instead of forcing them. We believe in time, in
respecting time, whether for producing or savoring wine. We believe in human connections, in
healthy conviviality among people, around wine and food. We believe in the culture and identity that
each natural wine represents, in the sense that the bottle belongs to the place where the grapes were produced. And
we believe that the philosophy, ethics, and principles of the producers we choose are non-negotiable: it is this
consistency, not scale, that defines who we are.
Our team
Behind Natwine Aficionados are Alberto Fernandes and Carlos Veloso, accompanied by a
design team, an IT team, and friends who, in various ways, collaborate with us without
obligation, shaping this project every day.
