Of an intense profile with excellent food-pairing versatility. On the nose, fresh red fruits stand out, such as strawberry, raspberry and cherry, accompanied by floral notes and nuances of dried herbs. On the palate it reveals a light to medium body, with silky, well-integrated tannins, offering a balanced, expressive and highly enjoyable wine.

Colheita (método): Grapes hand-harvested in mid-February.

Vinificação: The grapes were transferred to a cold room, where they remained at 6°C. The next day, the grapes were destemmed into open 2,000-litre fermentation tanks, and gently punched down 3 or 4 times over 2 weeks. Once the wine reaches a good flavour, it is pressed into a stainless steel tank to finish fermentation. It is then transferred to 3,000L foudres where full malolactic fermentation takes place.

Envelhecimento: On its fine lees for 11 months.

Colagem / Filtração: A light filtration was carried out for clarification, but the wine was not fined.
